Updated 18. January 2021
A Tour is any service sold by Al Jamal Adventures Tourism L.L.C (Al Jamal Adventures).
All clients are deemed to have read, understood, and accepted all of our booking conditions.
A contract between the client and Al Jamal Adventures comes into existence once we have confirmed the booking in writing and issued a confirmation. The client signing the booking form (that incorporates these terms and conditions) warrants that they have full authority to do so on behalf of all tour participants and confirms their awareness and understanding of these terms and conditions. The said contract, including all respective matters, is subject to the law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the UAE courts.
No employees or representatives of Al Jamal Adventures have any right to alter, vary or waive any of these terms and conditions, nor to undertake any liability whatsoever on behalf of Al Jamal Adventures. Al Jamal Adventures reserves all rights to decline any booking at their discretion without further explanation.
At the time of booking, where applicable, the customer is required to provide Al Jamal Adventures with full and valid names as they appear on the participant’s passport.
Any date changes that are made to an original booking are subject to availability if the full payment has been received and/or a voucher has been issued.
An advance payment of 50% must be made at the time of booking via our payment instructions.
Al Jamal Adventures reserves the right to cancel any confirmed booking. This should only occur in unusual circumstances such as adverse weather conditions, broken equipment, other circumstances external to Al Jamal Adventures or force majeure. However, Al Jamal Adventures can cancel the tour if weather conditions, governmental actions, unforeseeable or unavoidable external circumstances endanger or make carrying out the activity impossible or substantially more difficult.
Unless Al Jamal Adventures is forced to cancel the tour due to force majeure, the client will be offered an alternative date and or return the advanced payments received.
If the client cancels the tour, Al Jamal Adventures will provide a voucher upon request which can be utilised for an alternative date or tour by the client. Should the cancellation occur less than 3 days before the tour start, or the client misses the pickup time and location, then no refund will be made.
Clients wishing to cancel their tour must inform Al Jamal Adventures in writing, signed by the lead client on the booking request. Cancellation will take effect on the date the cancellation request is received by Al Jamal Adventures and the following cancellation charges will apply:
If any participant is unable to participate in any tour because of death, injury or serious illness of the client, close relative or friend, redundancy, or jury service, it is possible to transfer the booking to another suitable person.
Any refund of a transaction against any purchase made through the Al Jamal Adventures website will be refunded to the original mode of payment.
The refund will be made within 30 working days by crediting the respective payment method used. If the credit card payment is made before the use of the booked service is not honoured or revoked, this will be considered as a booking cancellation and cancellation fees will be charged. Further claims for damages are reserved.
No refund can be given for partially used services.
Al Jamal Adventures has the right to refuse admittance or exclude a client from any tour if the client does not meet the eligibility requirements, or if the client participation puts him/herself or others at harm, or otherwise interferes with the proper conduct of the tour. In these cases, no refund will be made and is done under exclusion of any compensation for damages or other claims under what legal basis whatsoever.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Al Jamal Adventures does not accept responsibility for any damage, loss, accident, sickness, injury, or death that a client or anyone else may suffer or incur arising out of the tours and/or is in connection with any contract with us and/or the operator of any tour.
All clients are advised to possess a comprehensive travel and health insurance. All personal effects are always at the client’s sole risk during the tours that are carried out. The client is required to understand and accept potential risks and hazards that can be involved in the provided tours.
The client takes responsibility for ensuring that all participants are mentally and physically capable of participating in the tour.
